With a scattering of swimming pools, snack bars and restaurants, the big and fun-filled Binimar Resort feels a bit like a village. With its cheerful buildings painted in sunny colours and green shutters at the windows, it gives you a real holiday feeling.

Regardless of if you are family looking for a resort with plenty to keep the children happy, or grown ups looking for sun and sand, a holiday at Binimar Resort in Cala'n Forcat will more than fit the bill. Children will love the bouncy castles, aqua park and trampolines in Cala'n Forcat, at the same time couples are certain to enjoy stretching out on the bathing platforms by day and then hitting the bars by night. Cala'n Forcat is also a good place from which to explore the rest of the west coast. Situated 30 miles from Mahon and approximately 3 miles west of the old capital, Ciudadela, perching on a dramatic rocky headland, Cala'n Forcat is probably Menorca's liveliest resort. But Menorca's answer to Magaluf it is not. This is Cala'n Forcat's appeal for a lot who decide to stay at Binimar Resort. In Cala'n Forcat you'll still discover inexpensive snack bars, English theme pubs and karaoke dens, but it's a lot more low-key when compared to its bustling Balearic neighbour. With a flight time of less than 3 hours, last minute holidays to Cala'n Forcat are an attractive proposition. And when you get to Binimar Resort you'll probably have such a superb holiday that you will want to return next year.....

Binimar Resort is in Cala n Forcat which is to be found on the Mediterranean island of Menorca (occasionally called Minorca). The island of Menorca is the second largest of the Balearic islands and is just 21 miles from the bigest Balearic island, Majorca. Those who have previously taken a holiday in either Majorca or Ibiza, will find that Menorca is frequently less lively than the other Balaeric islands. With many more beaches than any other Balearic island, Menorca is well known for it's many resorts that are focused on family holidays. The northern coast of Menorca is mainly quite rugged and dotted with peaceful fishing villages. The south coast of Menorca is generally less rugged and is dotted with tranquil resorts that are suitable for families.

As already mentioned Menorca is quite a small island. By renting a car you should be able get around the whole island. There are a lot of tourist information offices to be found in the towns of Menorca. These provide current information regarding Menorcan beaches, local events and excursions. The Menorcan tourism information offices also supply local a map of the island.

Menorca is a lot less expansive and quieter than Majorca. This unhurried pace is a major reason why Menorcan holidays are mainly targetted at family holidays. It is no suprise that most of holiday destinations are classed as family friendly. The Balearic island of Menorca has avoided over-development and keeps a large amount of the authentic Spanish character than the busier islands. So why not pack your flip-flops and book up for Binimar Resort in Cala n Forcat and absorb some sun on an island with character and charm?
