Villa Ana is a delightful property positioned within walking distance of numerous shops, restaurants and Cala'n Forcat's beach. Villa Ana is splendid for small groups or families who want the option of either taking days at the beach or by the villa's own pool.

Children will adore the bouncy castles, aqua park and trampolines in Cala'n Forcat, at the same time couples are sure to enjoy stretching out on the bathing platforms by day and then hitting the bars by night. Cala'n Forcat is also a great place from which to discover the rest of the west coast. Located 30 miles from Mahon and approximately 5km to the west of the former capital, Ciudadela, set on a rocky headland, Cala'n Forcat is probably Menorca's liveliest resort. However, Menorca's answer to Magaluf it is not. This is Cala'n Forcat's appeal for most who decide to stay at Villa Ana. In Cala'n Forcat you'll still uncover cheap snack bars, English theme pubs and karaoke dens, but it's low-key when compared to its bustling Balearic neighbour. With a flight time of less than 3 hours, last minute holidays to Cala'n Forcat are an agreeable proposition. And when you get to Villa Ana you're likely to have a superb holiday that you will want to come again next year.....

Villa Ana is in Cala n Forcat which can be found on the Balearic island of Menorca (sometimes called Minorca). The island of Menorca is the second biggest of the Balearic islands and is only 34 kilometers from the bigger Balearic island, Majorca. Those who have previously visited either Majorca or Ibiza, will notice that Menorca is usually quieter than the other islands. With many more beaches than any other Balearic island, Menorca is well known for it's many resorts that are focused on family holidays. The northern coast of Menorca is mainly quite rugged and sprinkled with peaceful fishing villages. The southern coast of Menorca is mainly the exact opposite and is dotted with tranquil resorts that are relaxed and low key.

As we previously mentioned Menorca is relatively a smallish island. By hiring a car you should be able visit the entire island. There are a lot of tourist information offices situated in in the towns of Menorca. These provide up to date information about Menorcan beaches, local events and excursions. The tourism information offices are also a great place for a map of Menorca.

The island of Menorca is much smaller and slower paced than Mallorca. This peacefulness explains why Menorca holidays are mainly focussed on families. It is no suprise that a lot of holiday destinations are considered to be family friendly. The island of Menorca has avoided over-development and retains a lot of the authentic character than the other islands. So don't hang about pack your flip-flops and book up for Villa Ana in Cala n Forcat and soak up the sun on an island with authentic charm and character?
