And after you get to Villa Coral you'll probably have a great holiday that you will want to come back next year.....

Villa Coral is in the resort of Cala n Forcat which is to be found on the Balearic island of Menorca (sometimes spelt as Minorca). The island of Menorca is the second biggest of the Balearic islands and is only 34 kilometers from the bigest Balearic island, Majorca. Anyone who has already visited Majorca or Ibiza, will find that Menorca is often less lively than the other Balaeric islands. With many more beaches than any other Balearic island, Menorca is well known for it's large number of resorts that are relaxed and low key. The northern coast of Menorca is generally very rugged and dotted with quiet fishing villages. The southern coast of Menorca is mainly the exact opposite and is sprinkled with tranquil resorts that are relaxed and low key.

As already mentioned Menorca is relatively a smallish island. If you hire a car you should be able visit the whole island. There are plenty of tourism information offices dotted around in the holiday resorts of Menorca. These provide up to date information regarding Minorcan excursions, beaches and local events. The tourist information offices are also a great place for a map of Menorca.

The island of Menorca is far less expansive and quieter than Mallorca. This tranquillity explains why Menorcan holidays are usually focussed on a family holiday. Unsuprisingly most of resorts are considered to be family friendly. The Balearic island of Menorca is less spoilt and keeps a lot of the original island character than Majorca and Ibiza. So don't delay, pack your sunglasses and book up for Villa Coral in Cala n Forcat and soak up some sun on an island with genuine character and charm?
