A contemporary, airy villa placed in a pleasant residential area with wonderful views out to sea from the roof terrace. The soft, sandy beach, reached by a series of steps and paths, is set in a pretty bay and is suitable for children. The nearest bar and restaurant, both with alfresco seating areas, are a 750 metre stroll away.

Regardless of if you are family seeking a resort with plenty to keep the children happy, or grown ups looking for sun and sand, a holiday to Villa Dolfin in Cala'n Forcat will more than tick the boxes. Children will like the bouncy castles, aqua park and trampolines in Cala'n Forcat, at the same time twosomes are sure to enjoy stretching out on the bathing platforms by day and then hitting the bars by night. Cala'n Forcat is also a superb base from which to uncover the rest of the west coast. Situated 30 miles from Mahon and approximately 5km west of the former capital, Ciudadela, nestling on a rocky headland, Cala'n Forcat is considered to be Menorca's liveliest resort. That said, Menorca's answer to Magaluf it is not. This is a plus factor for most who choose to stay at Villa Dolfin. In Cala'n Forcat you'll still reveal inexpensive snack bars, English theme pubs and karaoke dens, but it's very low-key in comparison with its busy Balearic neighbour. With a flight time of under 3 hours, late availability holidays to Cala'n Forcat are an attractive proposition. And when you get to Villa Dolfin you're likely to have such a great holiday that you will want to come back next year.....

Villa Dolfin is in the holiday resort of Cala n Forcat which is set on the Balearic island of Menorca (sometimes known as Minorca). The island of Menorca is the second largest of the Balearic islands and is only 34 kilometers from the larger Balearic island, Majorca. Anyone who has previously visited either Majorca or Ibiza, will soon notice that Menorca is often quieter than the other islands. With a larger number beaches than any other Balearic island, Menorca is famous for it's large number of resorts that are relaxed and low key. The north coast of Menorca is mainly very rugged and populated with peaceful fishing villages. The southern coast of Menorca is mainly the exact opposite and is populated with tranquil resorts that are relaxed and low key.

As we previously mentioned Menorca is relatively a smallish island. By hiring a car you should be able tour the entire island. There are numerous tourism information offices situated in in the holiday resorts of Menorca. These provide up to date information regarding Menorca beaches, local events and excursions. The Menorca tourism information offices are also an excellent source for a map.

Menorca is a lot smaller and less bustling than Majorca. This tranquillity explains why Menorca holidays are generally focussed on the family holiday market. Unsuprisingly many of holiday destinations are classed as family friendly. Menorca has avoided over-development and keeps a large amount of the original Spanish charm than Majorca and Ibiza. So why don't you pack your flip-flops and head off to Villa Dolfin in Cala n Forcat and take in some sun at a destination with genuine Balearic charm and character?
