You'll reveal shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment just a short walk away and there's also an Aqua Park to keep the children amused. If you prefer to chill out, then simply soak up some Mediterranean sun on the pool terrace. Villa Maria is situated adjacent to Villa Pedro.

Regardless of if you are family in search of a resort with lots to keep the kids happy, or grown ups searching for sun and sand, holidays in Villa Maria in Cala'n Forcat will more than fit the bill. Children will love the bouncy castles, aqua park and trampolines in Cala'n Forcat, while twosomes are certain to enjoy stretching out on the bathing platforms by day and then hitting the bars by night. Cala'n Forcat is also a superb base from which to uncover the rest of the west coast. Set just over 30 miles from Mahon and approximately 3 miles west of the previous capital, Ciudadela, nestling on a dramatic rocky headland, Cala'n Forcat is considered to be Menorca's liveliest resort. But Menorca's answer to Magaluf it is not. This is Cala'n Forcat's appeal for a lot who decide to take a holiday at Villa Maria. In Cala'n Forcat you'll still discover inexpensive fast food outlets, English theme pubs and karaoke dens, but it's very low-key when compared to its busy Balearic neighbour. With a flight time of under 3 hours, last minute holidays to Cala'n Forcat are an agreeable proposition. And when you get to Villa Maria you'll probably have such a superb holiday that you will want to come back next year.....

Villa Maria is in the resort of Cala n Forcat which is set on the Balearic island of Menorca (occasionally known as Minorca). The island of Menorca is the second biggest of the three Balearic islands and is only 21 miles from the bigest Balearic island, Majorca. Those who have already visited either Majorca or Ibiza, will soon realise that Menorca is generally less lively than the other islands. With many more beaches than any other Balearic island, Menorca is famous for it's many resorts that are family-friendly. The north coast of Menorca is generally quite rugged and dotted with peaceful fishing villages. The south coast of Menorca is mainly less rugged and is dotted with peaceful resorts that are suitable for families.

As already stated Menorca is quite a compact island. By renting a car you could easily tour the entire island. There are plenty of tourism information offices situated in in the resorts of Menorca. These provide the latest information regarding Menorca beaches, local events and excursions. The tourism information offices also supply local local maps.

Menorca is far smaller and less bustling than Mallorca. This unhurried pace is a major reason why Menorca holidays are largely aimed towards a family holiday. It will come as no suprise that a lot of resorts are classed as family friendly. The Balearic island of Menorca is less developed and keeps a large amount of the original Spanish character than Majorca and Ibiza. So don't delay, pack your flip-flops and book up for Villa Maria in Cala n Forcat and enjoy the sun on an island with genuine character and charm?
