Expect to be able to unwind completely. Expect peace and tranquility. Expect to be able to lay beside your own private pool, basking in the glorious sunshine and not see another soul all day long - unless you want to! Villa Nini is tucked away, quiet and very private. Yet it is also within easy walk of a lovely little cove, with a white sand beach, azure water and several options of two very chilled beach bars. Villa Nini also puts you within easy reach of one of the Mediterranean's most favoured old ports. Ciudadela has a view - from one of its enclosed cobbled streets, looking down onto its tiny strand - which launched a thousand postcards. It also has an achingly beautiful town square lined with fine, old public buildings and a number of waterside restaurants serving incomparable seafood paella.

Regardless of if you are family in search of a resort with lots to keep the children happy, or grown ups looking for sun and sand, holidays in Villa Nini in Cala'n Forcat will definitely tick the boxes. Children will adore the bouncy castles, aqua park and trampolines in Cala'n Forcat, while twosomes are certain to enjoy stretching out on the bathing platforms by day and then hitting the bars by night. Cala'n Forcat is also a great place from which to explore the rest of the west coast. Set just over 30 miles from Mahon and about 3 miles west of the previous capital, Ciudadela, perching on a dramatic rocky headland, Cala'n Forcat is considered to be Menorca's liveliest resort. However, Menorca's answer to Magaluf it is not. This is Cala'n Forcat's appeal for most who choose to take a holiday at Villa Nini. In Cala'n Forcat you'll still reveal inexpensive fast food outlets, English theme pubs and karaoke dens, but it's very low-key when compared to its bustling Balearic neighbour. With a flight time of under 3 hours, late deal holidays to Cala'n Forcat are an attractive proposition. And when you get to Villa Nini you're likely to have a great holiday that you will want to return next year.....

Villa Nini is in Cala n Forcat which is to be found on the Mediterranean island of Menorca (also spelt as Minorca). The island of Menorca is the second largest of the three Balearic islands and is just 21 miles from the largest island, Majorca. Those who have already been to either Majorca or Ibiza, will soon discover that Menorca is often quieter than the other Balaeric islands. With a larger number beaches than any other Balearic island, Menorca is well known for it's large number of resorts that are relaxed and low key. The north coast of Menorca is mainly very rugged and sprinkled with tranquil fishing villages. The south coast of Menorca is mainly a complete contrast and is dotted with quiet resorts that are family-friendly.

As we previously mentioned Menorca is relatively a small island. If you hire a car you should be able get around the whole island. There are a lot of tourist information offices to be found in the towns of Menorca providing up to date information regarding Minorcan beaches, local events and excursions. The Menorca tourism information offices are also an excellent source for a map.

Menorca is far less expansive and quieter than Majorca. This unhurried pace is probably why Menorcan holidays are generally targetted at a family holiday. Unsuprisingly a lot of holiday destinations are classed as family friendly. The island of Menorca is less developed and keeps more of the original Spanish charm than the busier islands. So why don't you pack your bags and head off to Villa Nini in Cala n Forcat and enjoy some sun at a destination with genuine charm and character?
