Expect to be able to unwind completely. Expect peace and tranquility. Expect to be able to lay beside your own private pool, basking in the glorious sunshine and not see another soul all day long - unless you choose to! Villa Nini is tucked away, quiet and very private. Yet it is also within easy walk of a lovely little cove, with a white sand beach, azure water and a selection of two very chilled beach bars. Villa Nini also puts you within easy reach of one of the Mediterranean's most favoured old ports. Ciudadela has a view - from one of its enclosed cobbled streets, looking down onto its tiny strand - which launched a thousand postcards. It also has an achingly beautiful town square lined with fine, old public buildings and a number of waterside restaurants serving incomparable seafood paella.

If you are family looking for a resort with plenty of stuff to keep the kids happy, or a couple seeking sun and sand, a holiday to Villa Nini in Cala'n Forcat will more than tick the boxes. Children will adore the bouncy castles, aqua park and trampolines in Cala'n Forcat, while twosomes are certain to enjoy stretching out on the bathing platforms by day and then hitting the bars by night. Cala'n Forcat is also an excellent base from which to discover the rest of the west coast. Situated 30 miles from Mahon and about 5km west of the previous capital, Ciudadela, nestling on a dramatic rocky headland, Cala'n Forcat is probably Menorca's liveliest resort. That said, Menorca's answer to Magaluf it is not. This is Cala'n Forcat's appeal for a lot who choose to holiday at Villa Nini. In Cala'n Forcat you'll still discover cheap snack bars, English theme pubs and karaoke dens, but it's low-key when compared to its bustling Balearic neighbour. With a flight time of under 3 hours, late availability holidays to Cala'n Forcat are an alluring proposition. And when you get to Villa Nini you'll probably have such a wonderful holiday that you will want to come back next year.....

Villa Nini is in the holiday resort of Cala n Forcat which is set on the Mediterranean island of Menorca (occasionally known as Minorca). The island of Menorca is the second largest of the Balearic islands and is just 34 kilometers from the larger island, Majorca. Those who have already been to either Majorca or Ibiza, will notice that Menorca is frequently less lively than the other Balaeric islands. With a larger number beaches than any other Balearic island, Menorca is reknowned for it's many resorts that are relaxed and low key. The north coast of Menorca is generally very rugged and populated with quiet fishing villages. The south coast of Menorca is mainly less rugged and is sprinkled with quiet resorts that are family-friendly.

As we previously mentioned Menorca is relatively a small island. If you hire a car you should be able visit the whole island. There are a lot of tourism information offices to be found in the towns of Menorca. These provide the latest information about Minorcan excursions, beaches and local events. The tourist information offices are also an excellent source for a map of Menorca.

Menorca is far more compact and less lively than Majorca. This peacefulness is probably why Menorcan holidays are largely targetted at families. Unsuprisingly a lot of resorts are considered to be family friendly. The island of Menorca is less spoilt and keeps a lot of the original island charm than the other islands. So don't hang about pack your bags and book a holiday in Villa Nini in Cala n Forcat and absorb the sun on an island with authentic charm and character?
