Villa Raquel, like its sister property Villa Ingrid, is a delightful villa, just a stroll from the access path to the sandy beach. It's a well-equipped, contemporary and attractively equipped villa, with its own private pool and sun terrace.

Regardless of if you are family looking for a resort with lots to keep the children happy, or grown ups in search of sun and sand, holidays in Villa Raquel in Cala'n Forcat will more than tick the boxes. Children will adore the bouncy castles, aqua park and trampolines in Cala'n Forcat, at the same time twosomes are certain to enjoy stretching out on the bathing platforms by day and then hitting the bars by night. Cala'n Forcat is also a superb place from which to reveal the rest of the west coast. Situated 30 miles from Mahon and approximately 5km to the west of the former capital, Ciudadela, set on a rocky headland, Cala'n Forcat is considered to be Menorca's liveliest resort. But Menorca's answer to Magaluf it is not. This is Cala'n Forcat's appeal for a lot who decide to take a holiday at Villa Raquel. In Cala'n Forcat you'll still reveal inexpensive snack bars, English theme pubs and karaoke dens, but it's low-key in comparison with its busy Balearic neighbour. With a flight time of under 3 hours, late availability holidays to Cala'n Forcat are an attractive proposition. And after you get to Villa Raquel you'll probably have a wonderful holiday that you will want to come back next year.....

Villa Raquel is in the holiday resort of Cala n Forcat which is located on the Mediterranean island of Menorca (sometimes known as Minorca). The island of Menorca is the second largest of the Balearic islands and is just 21 miles from the larger Balearic island, Majorca. Those who have previously visited either Majorca or Ibiza, will soon find that Menorca is often less lively than the other Balaeric islands. With many more beaches than any other Balearic island, Menorca is reknowned for it's many resorts that are suitable for families. The north coast of Menorca is generally quite rugged and populated with quiet fishing villages. The southern coast of Menorca is mainly less rugged and is dotted with tranquil resorts that are relaxed and low key.

As already stated Menorca is relatively a smallish island. If you hire a car you could easily get around the whole island. There are plenty of tourism information offices situated in in the resorts of Menorcaoffering the latest information about Minorcan events, beaches, attractions and excursions. The Menorca tourist information offices are also an excellent source for a map of the island.

The island of Menorca is much less expansive and quieter than Mallorca. This tranquillity is probably why Menorcan holidays are usually aimed towards a family holiday. It is no suprise that a lot of resorts are deemed to be family friendly. The Balearic island of Menorca is less spoilt and maintains a lot of the original island charm than the other islands. So don't hang about pack your sunglasses and book a holiday in Villa Raquel in Cala n Forcat and enjoy the sun on an island with island character and charm?
