The fantastic family Villas Jardins del Mar is spacious and impressive, with a brilliant kitchen and a private pool. It's in a quiet and peaceful spot, but is just a walk away from a selection of bars, restaurants and a supermarket and not too far from the beach either.

If you are family in search of a resort with plenty of stuff to keep the kids happy, or grown ups seeking sun and sand, holidays in Villas Jardins Del Mar in Cala'n Forcat will more than fit the bill. Children will adore the bouncy castles, aqua park and trampolines in Cala'n Forcat, at the same time couples are sure to enjoy stretching out on the bathing platforms by day and then hitting the bars by night. Cala'n Forcat is also a great place from which to explore the rest of the west coast. Set 50km from Mahon and approximately 3 miles west of the former capital, Ciudadela, perching on a rocky headland, Cala'n Forcat is probably Menorca's liveliest resort. But Menorca's answer to Magaluf it is not. This is Cala'n Forcat's appeal for a lot who book up to stay at Villas Jardins Del Mar. In Cala'n Forcat you'll still uncover inexpensive snack bars, English theme pubs and karaoke dens, but it's very low-key in comparison with its bustling Balearic neighbour. With a flight time of under 3 hours, last minute holidays to Cala'n Forcat are an alluring proposition. And once you get to Villas Jardins Del Mar you'll probably have such a great holiday that you will want to come again next year.....

Villas Jardins Del Mar is in the holiday resort of Cala n Forcat which is to be found on the Balearic island of Menorca (occasionally called Minorca). The island of Menorca is the second largest of the Balearic islands and is just 21 miles from the bigger island, Majorca. Those who have already taken a holiday in Majorca or Ibiza, will discover that Menorca is frequently quieter than the other islands. With more beaches than any other Balearic island, Menorca is reknowned for it's many resorts that are focused on family holidays. The north coast of Menorca is mainly quite rugged and populated with peaceful fishing villages. The south coast of Menorca is generally the exact opposite and is populated with peaceful resorts that are relaxed and low key.

As already stated Menorca is relatively a compact island. If you hire a car you should be able visit the entire island. There are numerous tourism information offices situated in in the towns of Menorca providing current information regarding Minorcan excursions, beaches and local events. The tourist information offices are also an excellent source for a map of Menorca.

Menorca is a lot smaller and less bustling than Mallorca. This peacefulness is probably why Menorca holidays are mainly focussed on family holidays. Unsuprisingly a lot of resorts are considered to be family friendly. Menorca has avoided over-development and retains a large amount of the original character than the busier islands. So why don't you pack your sunglasses and book up for Villas Jardins Del Mar in Cala n Forcat and soak up some sun at a destination with island character and charm?
